Elinor Christmas Ornament Pattern - PDF

I had been thinking about this design for several months and when Elinor, a local bead store owner, showed me the tapered crystals I used on the bottom that was the push I needed to complete the pattern. As most of you know, I love to do rolls and I wanted to create an ornament that used very large rolls. I found that it can be done, but requires great tension control. Therefore, I included three options in this pattern. The primary pattern shows how to do an extra large flat roll. Option B shows how to do the more difficult extra large round roll. Option C shows they ornament without a roll. The vertical netting dangles add the finishing touch to this spectacular ornament. I also included a fourth color combination in the pattern. This is a hefty pattern with lots of options. The 26-page pattern has step-by-step instructions and color pictures, describing how to create the ornament. This project is a significant project and takes considerable time to complete. This project should be attempted by experienced beaders only.
